Terms of Use
WARLRD Rentals · rent.warlrd.com · Effective October 22, 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and WARLRD Rentals ("WARLRD", "we", "us"). They govern your use of rent.warlrd.com, the booking tools we place on our other websites, the emails and text messages the service sends you, and your customer account (together, the "Service"). By browsing the Service, sending a rental request, paying online, uploading documents, or signing electronically, you agree to these Terms.
The software itself, including the office portal used by businesses and the connection to Intuit QuickBooks, is licensed under our End User License Agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
The rental itself (the equipment, your responsibilities while you have it, damage, fuel, late return, insurance and liability) is governed by the Master Equipment Rental Agreement you sign during checkout. If these Terms and the Master Equipment Rental Agreement conflict about a rental, the Master Equipment Rental Agreement controls.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. To rent equipment you must hold a valid government-issued driver's license or identification card. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business.
2. Your account and login links
We do not use passwords for customers. We send a one-time sign-in link to the email address on your booking. Anyone who can open that email can open your account, so keep your email account secure and tell us at once if you believe someone else is using your booking or account. You are responsible for keeping the contact details on your account current.
3. Requests, approval and reservations
A rental request sent through the Service is a request, not a confirmed reservation. We review every request and may decline it for any lawful reason, including availability, delivery distance, intended use, or incomplete identification. When we approve a request we email you a secure checkout link. Your machines are reserved for you when the checkout payment succeeds. Prices, availability, delivery charges and rental windows shown on the Service may change until that payment is made.
4. Payment, card on file and deposit holds
- Online payments are processed by Intuit QuickBooks Payments. Your card number and security code are sent from your browser directly to Intuit and never reach our servers. We receive a payment token, the card brand and the last four digits.
- By completing checkout you authorize us to charge the full rental amount shown on the checkout page to that card.
- With your consent at checkout, we keep that card on file with Intuit and use it to place a refundable damage-deposit authorization hold before your rental starts. A hold is not a charge. It is released after the equipment is returned and checked in, unless amounts are owed under the Master Equipment Rental Agreement.
- You also authorize us to charge the card on file for amounts that become due under the Master Equipment Rental Agreement, such as extensions, late return, fuel, cleaning, delivery, recovery or damage, as that agreement describes.
- Cancellations, changes and refunds are handled under the Master Equipment Rental Agreement and your booking confirmation. Contact us as early as you can if your plans change.
5. Identification and photos
Before a rental we ask for photos of the front and back of your driver's license and, where our settings require it, a photo of you holding it. We use these to confirm who is renting the equipment and to meet our insurer's requirements. We may refuse or cancel a rental if the identification is unreadable, expired, does not match the booking, or appears altered. You confirm that any document you upload is your own and genuine.
6. Electronic records and signatures
You agree to do business with us electronically. Agreements, receipts, condition reports and notices delivered through the Service or by email have the same effect as paper documents, and your typed or drawn signature and initials have the same effect as ink. We record the date, time, network address and device details with every signature. You may request a paper copy of any signed document at any time, and you may withdraw your consent to electronic records by contacting us, in which case we may be unable to serve you online.
7. Text messages and email
We send booking, approval, checkout, receipt and reminder messages to the email address and phone number on your booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts; we will still need to reach you by email or phone about an active rental.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: give false information; use another person's identity, card or documents; interfere with or probe the Service; copy, scrape or resell the Service; or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close access to the Service for anyone who breaks these rules.
9. Our content
The Service, its text, photos, logos and software belong to WARLRD Rentals or its licensors. You may use them only to find, book and manage rentals with us.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep availability, pricing and delivery estimates accurate, but they are provided for planning and can change until a reservation is paid. Delivery distances and prices shown online are estimates based on the address you enter; we confirm them before delivery. To the extent allowed by law we disclaim all warranties about the Service, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WARLRD Rentals and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid through the Service for the rental in question. Liability for the equipment and the rental itself is set by the Master Equipment Rental Agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify WARLRD Rentals against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, false information you provide, or your misuse of the Service.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this address with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it. Changes do not alter a Master Equipment Rental Agreement already signed except as that agreement allows.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
